Blood Orange Miso Glazed Broiled Salmon
This Blood Orange Miso Glazed Broiled Salmon combines the tangy sweetness of blood orange juice with the savory umami of miso paste to create a flavorful glaze for broiled salmon. It's a perfect balance of sweet, salty, and savory flavors that pairs wonderfully with the tender salmon fillets.
Ingredients:
- 4 salmon fillets 6 ounces each
- 1/4 cup blood orange juice
- 2 tablespoons white miso paste
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Sesame seeds and sliced green onions, for garnish
Instructions:
Mix miso paste, honey, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, salt, and pepper in a bowl
Pour the marinade over the salmon fillets that are in a shallow dish
Put it in the fridge for at least 30 minutes with the lid on
Set the broiler to high and put aluminum foil on a baking sheet
Take the salmon out of the marinade and place it on the baking sheet that has been prepared
Broil the salmon for 6 to 8 minutes, or until it is opaque and flakes easily with a fork
Use the rest of the marinade to baste the fish every few minutes while it's cooking
Before serving, top with sliced green onions and sesame seeds
